Offering an array of state-of-the-art sheet metal fabrication technologies, our team at Larsen Tella LLC is capable of highly accurate Electromechanical part production. We have experience in sheet metal fabrication using a variety of steels, aluminium, coppers and other metals for the most intricate fabrications, including commercial electronics manufacturing.
An electronics producer required a battery hold-down bracket for their product design. It required fabrication to ASTM and MIL production standards using CQ cold-rolled steel. The bracket’s dimensions measure 10.3″ x 6.5″ x 5.1″ in width, 5.1″ with tolerances as tight as + .005″.
The bracket’s design allowed us to use several different in-house fabrication and assembly technologies, with additional value-added services provided by one of our partners. Each bracket was punched, laser cut, and then formed using our press brake and punch press. The bracket components were assembled in-house and inspected using CMM and height gauge, then manually confirmed with callipers and micrometres. All parts were then e-coated using electrodeposition methods by our project partner.
Commended for our quality, accuracy, and delivery, our customer now orders 10,000 units from us annually, with a 4-week turnaround time. For more information on our sheet metal fabrication expertise for battery hold-down brackets, please contact us or refer to the table below.
